Sounds like a cool collab project between Web and DS students. If this was an option for me I would’ve signed up in a heartbeat.
Don't your students have to build projects together? Why not commission a group to make this site as their project, as a public service?

If you want to drive up the prices of degrees even further bail everyone out. Some hard lessons on debt and educational investment ROI are going to be felt and once that happens enough - degrees with low ROI will reflect that in their price.
