In the enterprise market you lose deals strictly because of your lower headcount regardless of how much you punch above your weight.

Hmmm... Is that really through? I always believe we'd need outside investment only when we've reached problem/Solution fit and product/ market fit. At that point, all the startup has in mind is scaling... Which always may require hiring more people.
