Once heard the story of a prominent VC who passed on Google’s seed, because Larry Page was super rude and arrogant during the meeting. Was still super bitter about it a decade later. The firm held a post mortem, and decided not to pass on investments again for this kind of reason

Hey, relatively ignorant about this. One "chooses" their investors? Would you happen to know what made them want K&S?

"So in a way it was arrogant of the VC even to be bitter about it." This reminded me an insight I heard from Brian Tracy: If you're worried what others think of you, don't be so full of yourself. They're thinking of themselves.

That was exactly the way it went down...lots of firms wanted in but it was invitation only

I was about to say that. Is it the arrogant of the entrepreneur if they know what they want & how they want & go after it? Just because one is ready to write a check does not put someone in higher status quo to define others behavior. I’m sure Larry Page may not even remember him
