cool article, but there is no amount of money or examples to get to human-level performance, not even close. anybody who has worked in ML/AI knows this, but most hide it.

Another hype. The current state of AI simply has no reach that level of intelligence. Machines still do not *understand* what they see.

Maybe they will just have a different definition of understanding, our own definition of understanding changed over time, for example; classical mechanics to quantum probabilistic models; the key thing is not understanding, the key is efficient decision making.
