Something Lambda School shares with YC: they can't accept many more students than they can get hired, just as YC can't accept many more startups than they can get funded. I can tell you from experience that this constraint is wonderfully focusing.

That's what attracted me to Lambda. They have taken a risk on their students and they're gambling their profitability on their ability to pick people who will get hired.
