Its so great seeing YC fund deep R&D companies like this instead of marginal apps that will need to spend most of their funding on ad dollars. Indirectly I suspect Paul Graham has had a major impact on the world by bringing these ideas into the light.

@scottleibrand pretty cool. Do you know if he has a device that creates the CO2 as well or does he come to his demos w CO2 from elsewhere (fire extinguisher, etc.)? -
Reading carefully through the article, it sounds like the prototype does (very inefficiently) capture CO2 from air, but would need to be engineered with a better air contactor to do so at any scale.
