Sometimes it is not about better execution either, they will get all the rewards because they have better contacts (e.g. because they are friends with someone well-known).

You need three things: an idea, execution and attention. You can get by with 2/3 as long as one of them is attention.

Seems like you’d need some decent level of execution at some point. And if the idea isn’t yours you might be a target for legal action
