Why do parents feel such a compulsive need to answer their children’s questions? I just think about managing people - helping them find their own answers is far superior.

This got me curious: what lies do you tell your children?

This is great. Why do we lie to kids? We are imperfect. Why not just explain that point. I think we solve problems with more intention when we know they truly need solving. If we don’t know we can’t solve. We don’t give kids credit. They give clear answers not clouded by lies.

This has aged well. You should have a follow-up on lies adults still believe.
