A useful thought exercise I’d recommend is deciding what your 10 core values are. What fundamental beliefs do you hold that are most important to you? I’ve been trying to decide what mine are and write them down. Forces me to think and prioritize. Fluid, so review annually.

Yeah, 10 is too many 'core values' imo

Ironically I’m experiencing this rn despite being the one to say 10. Don’t feel like I have anything to add to my list after a few. The rest just seem to be things that I sort of like, so they don’t make the list.

For values, why is fewer better?

For something like the reason fewer is better for axioms.

Makes sense. I’m currently sort of stuck at 4, which probably means I’m not actually stuck, but rather those are my core values.

Tip- think of times when you faced a choice and what rationale helped you make those decisions. Dig deeper using the “why loop”. In my experience only a few core beliefs are behind all decision making. Hope it helps
