I understand the motive for this advice, but it's not much use in practice. 1. You don't know what the 100 best books are, so you have to keep reading new ones to discover them. 2. It's not the same 100 for everyone, and you can only discover your interests by exploring.

He makes vague, short, & ill-defined statements that sound smart because each person interprets them the way they want to. Nothing wrong with that. Tactic has been used forever by charlatans & politicians to please a crowd ("Make America Great Again") but not actionable.

In fact only these kinds of short yet ill-defined statements *can* please a crowd. See Gustave Le Bon's "The Crowd". Trying to actually dig into actionable details will actually result in losing the crowd's attention and support.
