What advice seems obviously right, is relatively easy to follow, and is usually ignored?

Paul, your essays are great. When are you going to write a new one? I've noticed you're really active on twitter and full of ideas so I hope you'll find the time and energy to start writing again.

For ideas that seem obvious but may take years to build final product, in this case the initial version of the product might not even be 10% of the final product. How do you validate if the idea is not a made-up or sitcom?

Startup are mainly "rated" with a problem-solution filter. How do you analyse companies not addressing a "rational problem" but rather offering good time? e.g. video games, cinema, Disney land park, hiking, netflix, novels and so on. Enjoying life is a powerful need to fulfil.

Netflix solves a problem; people wanted to watch movies but it's expensive to buy every movie you would ever watch. I think your conception of "problem" is unnecessarily restrictive.
