The thing that stuck out most as mistaken is when I said that the popular and nerdy kids were the way they were because they'd been trained that way by their parents. Now that I've had kids, I realize more comes from nature and less from nurture than I thought.

Where this gets really interesting today in high school, and really everywhere, is with social media.

It makes it easier to bully at scale and remotely. Adults never grew out of this need. Social media proved this. However the nerds now run things.

Do you ever go back and edit old essays? I do it a lot, where I’ll read something and change the wording slightly because I think it sounds better or because I learned something new.

Rarely, if I see typos or easily misread sentences that I missed at the time because I was used to them.
