Biographies of famous people often mention how they worked at night and on weekends, as if this were painful for them. But if you like what you do, nights and weekends are the best time to work. That's when you get those wonderful big blocks of time without interruptions.

Done. Her reaction is not so encouraging. Essentially telling me (and not being wrong) that work/what I love should not come before family. Especially now with a new kid. Not trying to troll you Paul. Been a follower for a long time, just wonder how does family life come into it

Essentially the question is how do you keep on doing those long nights, weekends working on what you love and what makes you happy while at the same time having a family, especially with kids. It's something, I find really challenging at the moment as I guess so do other people.
