One thing I know for sure I would not do is go work for a big company, even a prestigious one like Google. I'd probably either go to grad school (like I did) or start a startup.

My mind reels at the carnage of 10,000 random graduates starting startups. To you this is a theoretical point. But I can just about extrapolate from my own experience what it would be like. It's just possible you're right, but my God what a mess it would be.
