I'd keep writing code for as long as I could. Maybe I'd never have to stop.
-
Exactly what I did except we’ve applied 6 times and still no luck and now I’m 23 almost 24 :/. But will keep working on it.

Are you purposely keeping the company small so you can make better "long term growth" decisions, or are you purposely sacrificing growth because you just hate the "managing" part too much?
-
When I say small, I mean small in employees, not revenues.

What would your headline metric be? Revenue per Employee?

Just revenue, probably.

This is great feedback but, surprisingly, flies in the face of what the press and much of SV touts. I've done it both ways and this is sound advice. The upside, more than anything, is that it requires the founder(s) to focus on selling and PMF for longer.
