There's room for someone to do this again. There are several new(ish) micro-publications that focus on SV, but none of them are out there doing the work of trying to figure out which new startups represent the future.

It's become even harder... Hesitant skepticism in searching out promising founders ironically leads to a bias against the founders likely to fall in this category. Endless motivation needed for this to interview everyone deemed relevant to any extent whatsoever.

On the other hand, this kind of motivation is within reach of anyone who enjoys the fun of crafty curiosity and can tolerate working on it especially at the very end of their comfort sones
