Crazy idea but you could match/etc their last ISA payment with a "first deposit into your new [Vanguard/Wealthfront/etc] IRA" and then advise them to set up a monthly set-it-and-forget-it in the same amount.

It helps that they're competing against the dream competitor: colleges. Their monopoly was so pervasive that no one realized how much better you could do.

I hope the next industry is project/product management... I know some coding but hate it too much to really do good there. I'm much better as a PM/BA/Prod Dev type of role.. But it's incredibly hard to get an actual job in such a role without a degree and years of experience.

“no one realized how much better you could do” seems like a bit of an US-centric viewpoint. The Lambda School model is almost exactly how the Australian government funds university education. Only big difference is the length of study. (9 months vs 3-5 years)
