Strange, isn't it? I encountered them myself recently and was similarly perplexed. It's so anomalous one wonders if it is some sort of campaign.

Although, I now remember encountering real, very politically-right-wing, people who seem desperate for electric cars to fail because Tesla’s success disproves their whole green-energy-will-never-work worldview.
