It depends if you think of Plan B while thinking of Plan A. In that case you should think harder, talk to users/mentors and commit to one. One has to differentiate between Plan B and Iteration on A.

Also teams smell pessimism. It’s a strength as a leader to commit and work with the team to pour your hearts into executing the plan. Less but better.
