When I put our boys to bed, it sometimes takes an hour. In theory I'm lax for letting it drag on so long. But it's the best part of the day for all of us, because we're all together with no distractions.

after a day of work we’re totally okay with a “bedtime” routine that lasts 1-1.5 hours. Nice to have that dedicated time to focus on the small, the silly.
In that case I'll admit it sometimes takes a good deal more than an hour...

Hahaha. Everyone who knows us knows not to take our bedtime advice because expediency and routine are so not our north stars.

Well that's one of the kiddos quality time with us .... yet I admit sometimes its draining energy, and i scold them - i want to be better tho, by not scolding them unless its too much :)
