When talking to investors, don't try to hide your problems. Investors know every startup is a series of disasters. If you pretend nothing's wrong, they'll assume you're lying. Confident founders are candid.

The key turning point for me to become that confident founder was detaching my ego from my business. Look with curiosity at the feedback people give and realise your company success ≠ your are awesome & vice versa.
Yes, this is a very powerful technique: to consider the problem you're solving as more important than you. It makes you extraordinarily hard to discourage, and also causes you to make fewer mistakes.
