The real waste in education isn’t the dollar cost of college, it’s the opportunity cost. Not just of college but of high school. A better education system could take a smart 14 year old and get them into a top-tier workplace four years later.

Agreed. Also the 10yr opportunity cost dedicating your 20s to paying off loans, sticking in same job, not taking risks... Cost is defs the worst.
