There is no better feeling than a @stripe payment notification coming in for something you’ve built. Especially when you’ve had a crappy day, seeing that someone on the other side of the world wants to pay to use your product - it’s the ultimate entrepreneur happy pill.

Write something and charge for it. Never hurts to be an actual user of the product.

Yeah, I have a legacy side project which I just got to upgrade to the new integration pattern a few weeks ago (and got a 20 page doc out of that experience), but it doesn’t regularly deliver the dopamine notifications.

Key is to insist that friends purchase it -- at least 5 per day -- and castigate those who cheap out.
