This is a classic genre, Paul Graham once published a book where he fed Milton into a Markov chain and claimed not to be able to tell the output from the input
You could definitely tell the output from the input. The question was whether the output even seemed like something written by a human. It did to a handful of people I tried it on. That was all I claimed.
