Incidentally, what you're seeing here is why the best startups have exponential growth rates: if a product is sufficiently good, people who try it spontaneously recommend it.

Which makes me wonder if Twitter is increasing startup growth rates, by making it easier for people to do that. If so, that might outweigh Twitter's many other bad qualities. Might.

Eh, that sounds stressful. I’m glad my startup has a linear growth rate. Much easier to budget for new hires, keep the snack room stocked, etc.
