That phrase "for-profit investors" makes me suspect you don't realize Y Combinator has also been funding nonprofits since 2012. Which is how I know about this phenomenon.

Well aware of it, though you're better known for your investments in for-profit companies. I've covered fraud at philanthropies and some nonprofit nightmares, but the vast majority of nonprofit leaders I know are good people, underpaid and overworked.
