I'm not saying, obviously, that most startups are run by sociopaths. A disproportionate number of the best people I know run startups. So don't let this phenomenon discourage you from working for or investing in startups. But be aware of it.

Unfortunately Paul, *most* people will only read your first tweet, which contained scant balance or clarification. I understand your perspective, but since many startups are equally run by sociopaths, I find your point rather moot.

Ah, so the problem is not that you're too slack to read the whole thread, but that other people are? Why not give them the benefit of the doubt and assume they're as smart as you? Doesn't seem a stretch.
