Some people (mostly women) are just blessed with that extra intuitive sense of reading people.
The ones I've met are all women with one exception: Jon Levy at YC also has this skill.

What as per you is the common possible denominator among all these people? I think it is something to do with their DNA and family background, values, and hardships in life.

I think it's just a skill, like athletic ability. The things that the social radars I know have in common (insatiable appetite for gossip, high moral standards, lack of interest in ideology) probably derive from it more than cause it.
