People are bad at judging things individually but good at comparing two things side by side. So much so that if you put two things side by side it's hard not to compare them. It seems likely there are yet to be founded startups driven by this.
(This is a strange tweet in the sense that it's aimed at maybe 10 people who have an idea almost formed in their heads. Those few it may tip into epiphany. To everyone else it will seem at best plausible but vague.)
3 options better than 2 as forces you to pick positively. e.g. when you get quotes for work, get 3 quotes, then you see the market price. If you get 2, and they are very different, you are unsure what is the outlier. So yeah, nice idea, but 3 not 2
