I don't think "Investor-owned startups don't have enough competition from worker-owned co-ops" is the problem YC is intended to solve, lol.

Many worker-owned co-ops exist in the tech industry, but we don't hear about them because they are small, because they don't achieve the kind of growth that startups do, because they (by definition) don't take funding.

Having founders is what they have in common with startups. Not having investors is what makes them different.
