Something I learned in the last 2-3 weeks of programming is that it pays to take time to think about structure before you start writing code. Taking the time to think about what your app needs and what the best structure is to meet those needs saves you big time in the future.

Being more concise makes a language more malleable, as does being dynamically typed. So not Java.

I think even in “malleable” languages. Taking time to think through your code structure, will make your coding much more efficient. And this principle can generally be applied to life.

It’s like, yes you can realize halfway through your home improvement project that you need to rush order some stuff from amazon and make a trip to Home Depot. But if you lay everything out ahead of time, it’s a lot smoother process.
