I didn't say I was skeptical. I was talking about VCs. YC has funded lots of people over 32.

It’d be nice if you could come up with a structure for older adults with young kids who can’t be away for three months.

You can make it work. We did YC as co-founder parents with two young kids. They just had to come too. And yes we are/were well over 32
