In common usage, especially on the far left, "problematic" is usually just a pretentious synonym for "bad." If you replace the former with the latter, you see what's actually being said.
For sure "problematic" is a legitimate word with a distinct meaning. That's one of the things that makes it annoying when people use it as a synonym for "bad."

It’s easy if we get the etymology of it. But who cares? Problematic comes from “προβλημα” which has a different meaning (and can also have a solution)
