Not only that, many of those who chastise companies as evil, do so using governments as a benchark of morality, yet it is those very governments that are the sources of the problem via policymaking. TL;DR - this stuff is really complicated.
A counterargument against "Google is evil." I know lots of people who (a) work at Google, (b) don't need to, (c) have high moral standards, and (d) know better than politicians or reporters what Google actually does.
