The power of reflecting! Why don’t we do this more often - for things that are important to us (especially our most meaningful relationships)?
Was a happy PagerDuty customer. Congrats, @pagerduty!
People being surprised that you would know what your incubator companies are doing is the purest example of how people don't understand what investing is or what venture capital is actually about (including many who call themselves investors or VCs!).
What’s your view on current batch sizes? Have they gotten too big to have such a detailed understanding of each incubatee?
I'm surprised someone would invest in a company without having a detailed understanding of what the company is doing. Maybe it's FOMO?
1. PG was/is so far ahead of the game it’s not even funny. 2. PG’s greatest asset could arguably be his heart! Ppl talk ab privilege this, privilege that. Privilege is having role models like PG, Jessica, Ron Conway and countless more, for free, in ur pocket, 24/7/365
#goal "But it wasn't surprising when you consider I'd basically written a short essay about each one."
Is YC doing the same today for the batches(short essay about each one)? It will be great to see and share...
This is so sympa.
Do current YC partners do this?
