I didn't do this to ridicule the original tweeter. I'm honestly showing this to people as an example of a phenomenon that happens on Twitter, in order to prevent them from being discouraged if it happens to them.
Respectfully, a better idea to meet your objective is to screen shot the tweet next to the results of Lambda School to show the comparison rather than spread a negative story that affects the entire Lambda community.
I believe you. But I'm not really sure that motives matter as far as the impact on the toxicity it creates. I've found that toxic people can be *very* good at rationalizing "I'm doing this thing which is normally bad but it's ok because I have good motives".
