Save this tweet in case you ever find yourself attacked by a mob of haters, and it makes you start to doubt yourself. Lambda does more good than most nonprofits, and thousands of people have decided, based on this shallow diss, that it's evil incarnate.https://twitter.com/PedanticRomantc/status/1114615119122591744 …

The logic of this person is twisted. I’d not even care to respond both parties.

Because they haven't read the article. Or actually read about Lambda. Takes too much time. They want to be outraged NOW.

@datarade Incidentally (and ironically) the spelling is doryphore.

But if you call it "income based repayment" and turn it into a government program, I'm assuming a lot of those same people like it.

If a company like @LambdaSchool which is on a path to educate and employ people deprived of access and just finding a way to charge (with a cap) them so it doesn’t go free, can get this kind of a bad reception from some people, then am convinced every company will face this.

Hey sceptics, ask yourself before you diss @LambdaSchool how many universities risk their income on ability to choose good candidates and teach across borders? I’m happy to pay back for a life-transforming education. Lord knows I’ve paid for education that got me nowhere.
