Why was it good? For 17 year old you? Odd question maybe but only watched it recently and felt I was missing the context of what it was like to see it when it came out, thought it was merely OK.
I think Blade Runner and The Matrix are somehow sibling works -- one leaves you seriously wondering if you are a human, the other if you are in reality. (Reminds me I should ask someone who was 16 when Moon came out.)
Certainly see that. I guess if art or an idea is influential enough it seeps into everything after it, makes the outstanding and strange, obvious and mundane
