Where would you rather live - a society with the Internet as we know it, or a society with personal flying machines as safe and affordable as cars are today?
I was tempted to say flying machines, but losing the internet would literally cost lives, so I couldn't.

Flying cars would save a huge number of lives though. Most car crashes happen because, in 2D, the paths cars want to take intersect with each other (and those of bikers and pedestrians).
