Don’t you think the best founders actually don’t need any help and it’s best to let them execute themselves? Seems like the only real value add is hiring and intros to new sources of capital.

Hiring, intros and capital are key constituents of a companies success never to be underestimated as not real value add. None of us are all knowing and to win we need a broad network

But what if sometimes founders just want some money? Seems like VC’s all rush to add value and that’s not always what the market/founders actually want at all

Founders can & should choose exactly the people/investors they believe is best fit for them. It’s not a one size fits all. Maybe money is all they want. However I have always learned from others. We can always learn by surrounding ourselves with people who are smart
