Even with the best intentions, you can't avoid dangers you don't know about. If some corner was 1000x more dangerous than the rest of the road it was on, wouldn't it be helpful to know about that?
Near my house there's an intersection where there are crashes every few months. They don't happen because people drive more irresponsibly there. They happen because people who don't live here don't realize how dangerous the intersection is.

No. Augmenting input to humans is not always good for decision making. Often it creates complications
Have you ever read about the architecture of road safety ? Or how world class sports people make decisions. Our intuition and the need to feel danger is better than any stats or software will be for years.
Analytics rules the day in sports, from talent evaluation down to decision making within a match. Engineering may have started with intuitions and conventions, but those have been subsumed by models which recover reality.

It would be great if on very low probabilities of danger it can play fast and the furious music so I know I can drive like a prick
If it was added to an existing platform (like Waze etc), color coding the roads on the map where accidents occur frequently could be helpful and wouldn’t add further distraction. Having a whole other app to monitor while driving would be a “whole thing”.
Would be super helpful to know about that. But it would be as useful as the beeping of the "put on your seatbelt" chime of my car.
