I think I avoided all pressure to find Trump guilty of collusion w Russia. And it was a considerable cost on my life. The typical conversation went: “Oh c’mon Eric. He’s clearly guilty. Why make excuses? When the report comes you‘ll have to look in the mirror.” I want apologies.

Well, if he was wearing an unscrupulous and chaotic miniskirt, he must have been asking for it.

Joking aside, you can believe everything you said and still hold off on judgment and punishment until the facts come in. There's no need to be unscrupulous and chaotic in our search for the truth.

This is wrong: "the reason it seemed likely was that the Russians would have love". Russia wanted Trump to win, they knew they didn't need to actually COLLUDE with Trump or his campaign in order to help him win. Hence Russia hacked Podesta's emails and leaked them unilaterally.

I am student of
@paulg’s wisdom + experience but here is my observation on his statement: re. “... the Russians would have loved to, and the Trump campaign was both unscrupulous and chaotic.” Does that meet Occam’s Razor principle? -
I’d argue and have argued it does not. Political motivation is a third, arguably simpler and more powerful, independent factor to consider.

I'm sure you're right, but that's a very low standard and can justify all sorts of accusations. And of course it's always impossible to prove a negative.

It may or may not be true; but one has to optimize one’s own thoughts and in this case not focusing on it much seems best.
