I've met a lot of people who were aggrieved that other people were rich and not them, and I've met a lot of people who went on to become rich, but I've never met anyone who did both.

He clearly implies that if you aren't rich, you are just a grumpy ungrateful idiot whose poverty is just their own fault and has nothing to do with privilege, oppression, and exploitation that makes it nearly impossible to escape the poverty trap.

i'm still confused what you actually meant. another probably not what you meant -- those who feel justifiably aggrieved aren't likely to become wealthy, precisely for the reasons they feel aggrieved. but, would love you to clarify!
