It doesn’t matter how good your ideas are if you can’t communicate them.

And it helps to cement an understanding of the idea. If you can’t explain the idea, it might indicate that the idea is flawed, or that your understanding of it is incomplete.
Interestingly, I find this extends even down to variable names. If I can't think of a good name for something, it's often a sign that it shouldn't exist.

If you struggle to come up with a proper name it probably means your idea lacks unique point-of-view. An idea without point-of-view is often made up.
