Why do you think it's important that people learn to code ?
Because so much of what people make now is software, or has software in it. So it's somewhat like learning to read was in, say, 1500.

I was a developer for 19 yrs, passed up by YC on some big ideas that exited. Now, I own a business making handmade furniture, without a website. I'm also launching an outdoor gear company. 80% of life today is an entrepreneur is not as a developer, its as a content creator.
