When investors ask you questions about your company, don't begin with "so." It's a tell that you're about to emit prefabricated sentences, and those never hold the other person's attention like actual conversation.

Probably most of the things Y Combinator teaches founders sound that way, to someone who doesn't know the difference.

No snark intended: if ‘so’ reveals recall instead of actively constructing a response, can’t this just mean the question was obvious or the founder is thoughtful (has considered this before)?
