I believe it depends on where the content is written. In technical literature, always numerically. In general literature, in words for single digits and numerically thereafter. At least that’s what editors have instilled in me...

I like misspelling stuff on purpose becuzeeeeee I like seeing who comments on that and not the point I was making lmao.. but lately misspelling kinda annoyed me just looks unpleasant

These decisions can be / often are stylistic. And remind us that even the more widely accepted ‘rules’ are but constructs which can be used or disrupted.

When I was little I asked my literature teacher "What do I use when writing: letters or numbers?" She said "You're in a literature class, figure it out."

Whenever I read back my essays, I stop to edit the parts that made me pause. Usually the pause happens because I didn’t understand what I just wrote. The next time I read the essay, I notice I can read for a bit longer without pause. Eventually it becomes like a song.
