There will be a lot of “Lambda School for x” approaches. Some will work, some will fail, and some will just be Lambda School. But ten years from now there will be millions of people involved; people creating and capturing wealth that otherwise may not have existed.
Lambda School is a Lambda School for software engineers.
I've thought a lot about how good of a feeder lambda could become to YC one day. Could assist in diversifying talent pools more quickly in fields previously requiring 13 year olds to stumble on apple 2's and the sort.
Same for enterprise software. Imagine the level of operational efficiency if everyone had custom business management software always in line with they business strategy
Isn't YC primarily focused on preselecting the best founders though?
Lambda could undercut YC nicely here. They could offer ~$20-$30K to 5-10X more people annually, focus on software businesses, and add on their level of discipline & structure (multiple times / day checkins...)
