I think the reason american right sees "the government" as *very bad thing* is because american government is extraordinarily bad.

The military has a saying: to be a good leader, first be a good follower. I.e., those as comfortable fighting as observing, as acting as thinking, as imitating as innovating, as dying as living. It takes a rare person who can be a rebel with a cause.

Might just be correlating successful founder with ignorant in how all the resources I have are heavily subsidized by the government lucky person.

I think you are off on this one. Only lost people want to be told what to do. What people like is to be able to tell other people what to do, and even more petty than that, that other people tell other people what to do. The latter is the favorite of those without agency.
