Would you agree that if (1) good ideas become money, and (2) those with quality ideas are more likely to have successive quality ideas, we will witness a perpetual increasing polarisation of wealth? If so, how do we decrease the polarisation/prevent any future increase in it?
I think this is inevitable (unless something far worse happens), and that the solution is to mitigate this polarization, e.g. by making it hard to translate wealth into political power.
Separating wealth and power? Is'ny this fundamentally impossible?
I would agree that you can have wealth without political power; but not political power without wealth (whether personal wealth or supportive wealth (I.e. you being the puppet and the puppet master giving you funding).
